Nellie P. Patterson Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Nellie P. Patterson is the recipient of a bachelor of business administration, concentrating in finance

MEMPHIS, TN, June 07, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nellie P. Patterson, Assistant Director for Southwest Tennessee Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in financial assistance and administration.

As assistant director, Ms. Patterson supervises a 15 member staff, four work-study students, daily college operations, and staff training. She offers financial aid counseling to parents and students, and awards financial assistance to those who qualify. Additionally, Ms. Patterson reports monthly to transportation security administration and assists students with disabilities. For the past 20 years, she has also owned a tax preparation business.

Ms. Patterson received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from Belhaven University. She also earned an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting from Rutledge College. She was recognized with Employee of the Year Awards by both Southwest Tennessee Community College and Rutledge College. Ms. Patterson volunteers her free time to the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
