Sharon J. Muench celebrates 11 years as the Chairwoman of the University of Phoenix

PITTSBURGH, PA, June 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sharon J. Muench, Chairwoman of the University of Phoenix, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in writing instruction.

With 11 years of experience as Chairwoman of the University of Phoenix, Sharon J. Muench is responsible for conducting the accelerated learning program for adult students, recruiting, hiring and training employees, and managing the arts and science program. Ms. Muench also teaches English as a second language to people from Western Africa. She became involved in her profession because she capitalized on the opportunity after moving to Pittsburgh, and she attributes her success to her passion for her profession.

Ms. Muench received her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Change from the Fielding Graduate University in 2009. She is a member of the American Association of University Women and the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
