Bronx, NY, August 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mercedes E. Moscat, Executive Associate for Eugenio Maria de Hostos Community College, Office of the President, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating' dedication, leadership and excelIence in higher education.

Serving in various professional capacities at the college for over 17 years, Ms. Moscat attributes her success to her work ethic, passion for excellence and the empowerment of students and employees of the college. Her professional experience at Hostos Community College has spanned three divisions; Student Development and Enrollment Management as Assistant Director of Counseling and Director of the Women's Center; Administration and Finance as the Human Resource Manager and presently in the Office of the President as an administrator of the day-to-day functions of the office as well as project management. She is also the Sexual Harassment deputy coordinator for the college where she receives complaints and educates the college community.

In 1979, Ms. Moscat received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Development, with a minor in Education with Honors, from World University in Puerto Rico. She has graduate course credits from Hunter
College in Guidance and Counseling.
