James P. Hess Recognized for Excellence in Management and Education
James Hess successfully combines his passion for education with his professional business goals

BRENTWOOD, TN, October 14, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- James Hess, Director of Professional Development for Comdata, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in management and education.

Throughout his three decades of professional experience, Mr. Hess has been driven by his persistence and focus. He has also cultivated his expertise in management and education. Four years ago, while seeking a way to marry his passion for education with his professional business goals, Mr. Hess assumed the position of Director of Professional Development for Comdata, which entails training new employees, performing sales management training, and providing continuing education to the sales force with regard to new products and updates.

Mr. Hess earned an MBA from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1989 and a Ph.D. in business administration, with a focus on management, from Northcentral University in 2011. He is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and a recipient of two ASTD Golden Torch Awards. Having worked as an adjunct professor at various local colleges, Mr. Hess hopes to pursue a position as an associate professor in the future. He also aspires to become the vice president of learning and development at Comdata.
