ALBUQUERQUE, NM, July 22, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dianna S. Martinez, Manager of Human Resources for Nob Hill Shoe Repair, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in detailed human resources.

For 24 years, Ms. Martinez has ably assisted Nob Hill Shoe Repair in Albuquerque, a company that her husband established and continues to operate. As human resources manager, her diverse responsibilities include overseeing accounting, payroll, recruitment, employee selection, performance evaluations and compensation. She not only excels in these HR functions, but also possesses extensive knowledge of the company's products and technical services. Consequently, she routinely trains staff on shoe, jewelry and watch repairs. Her hard work, perseverance and desire to learn have enabled her to meet with success in her nearly three-decade-long career.

Ms. Martinez is pursuing a bachelor's degree at The University of New Mexico, where she intends to also obtain an MBA. She holds two associate degrees: one in liberal arts, which she earned in 2008, and the other in management, which she attained one year earlier. Dedicated to her community, Ms. Martinez serves in several voluntary capacities. She is an art teacher at the community center, a participant in the mentorship program at the Albuquerque Recreation Center, and a supporter of both the South Street Adoptive Parents of New Mexico and the Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity's food cupboard program.
